I am Minnesota born and raised and currently live in North Mankato. I am the parent of 4 children, ranging in age from teenager to adult, including a daughter with special needs who turned 18 in 2023. She also uses CDCS through a CAC waiver. I was raised in a family with a parent who had significant disabilities and did not have in-home services and programs to provide the level of support needed in our home. I am grateful to be able to work with these programs now to help people achieve their best lives at home. I started working at a local medical clinic before graduating high school until 2007, then I worked at a group home for one year and have been working in government-based public service since 2008. currently help people get back on their feet after experiencing trauma and specialize in driver’s license reinstatement processes. In addition to my support planning certificate, I hold a BAS in Human Services with a certificate in victim/survivor services through Washburn University in Topeka, KS. I have also completed Mental Health First Aid training. My hobbies incorporate my passion for animals, plants, and nature. An interesting thing about me is I hold dual citizenship with the United States and Luxembourg. Fun Fact: I was married to Jason Bennett in 2024 (another Flex-Pac plan writer).
