A Certified support planner who is passionate about supporting, advocating and assisting in the planning of an individuals’ directed care and personal needs. My Educational background is a BS in Psychology and Masters in Social Work. Previously worked as a Direct Support Staff in ICF(independent living care facility) and Group homes. Also worked in the Social service field as a Child Welfare Caseworker, Foster Care Caseworker and as a School Social Worker. Apart from my past experiences in the Social Service field working with a variety of families, I have been writing my adult child’s CSP Plan and Managing his budget for the past 20 years. I am passionate about working with and supporting families who are in similar life experiences like that of my family. I enjoy being a part of the teams that provide support that will meet an Individual’s specific needs. My favorite phrase; “it takes a village”.
